Bio
Alex Horveno enters his first season on the Lions' staff. He will serve as a Graduate Assistant. Horveno hails from Stade Brestois, Ligue 1, a professional academy in France.
Horveno brings great experience to the program from a decorated playing career. He played four seasons in NCAA Division II. Two were spent at Ohio Valley in 2017 and 2018 and two spent at Lynn University in 2019 and 2020.
During his collegiate career, Horveno was a regular Season Champion and Tournament Champion in 2017 with Ohio Valley in the GMAC and 2019 with Lynn in the Sunshine State Conference. As well as team accomplishments, Horveno was an All-Region Selection in 2018, 2019, and 2021 as well as All Conference Team in 2018, 2019, and 2021. He was third in assists in NCAA Division II in both the 2018 & 2019 seasons.
In the summer of 2021, Horveno was also a USL League 2 National Champion with the Des Moines Menace.
