Bio
Joe LaCasto was promoted to assistant coach in the summer of 2021. He was named the graduate assistant coach for the Mars Hill men's soccer program in the summer of 2020.
LaCasto graduated from UNC Asheville in May 2019 and served as an assistant coach for the Bulldogs during the 2019 season that saw the team double their win total from the previous campaign.
LaCasto, a midfielder, appeared in 73 contests during his four years with UNCA, starting 58 matches. He served as a team captain for three seasons, scoring one goal and adding two assists in his senior campaign. The Huntington Beach, California native was a two-time Big South All-Academic Team honoree.
