Bio

Haley Moore will be entering her first season as the Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Mars Hill University for the 2025–2026 season.

In 2024–2025, Moore served as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Charleston, where she gained valuable experience in player development, scouting, recruiting, and program operations. Her transition from player to coach reflects her dedication to the game and her commitment to mentoring student-athletes both on and off the court.

Before stepping into coaching, Moore built a strong collegiate playing career. She began at Iowa Western Community College, where she appeared in 26 games as a freshman. She then transferred to Wabash Valley Community College, playing a pivotal role in guiding the Warriors to a 30–2 record, an undefeated conference season, and a National Tournament appearance. During her time at Wabash, she averaged 4.7 points and 4.1 rebounds per game, highlighted by a career-best 13-point performance and a nine-rebound outing against nationally ranked competition.

Moore went on to finish her playing career at the University of Charleston, where she was a steady contributor during her junior and senior seasons. She averaged more than four points per game across both years, including a career-high 15 points against Concord and a season-high 12 points against West Virginia State.

A native of Saint Paul, Minnesota, Moore is passionate about using her experiences as both a player and coach to mentor and guide student-athletes, helping them grow as players and as individuals.
