Mars Hill remains sixth in NCAA Super Region 2 rankings
The Mars Hill football team remains sixth in the NCAA Super Region 2 rankings, as released Monday afternoon.
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference posted three teams in the NCAA Super Region 2 Regional Football Rankings. Mars Hill is No. 6, with Newberry checking in at No. 7, and Lenoir-Rhyne earning the No. 9 spot.
The Lions are currently 8-2 overall and are 6-1 in the SAC, while Newberry is 8-2 overall with a 6-1 record in league play as well.
The Bears are also 7-2 overall and have a 5-2 record in the SAC.
The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Football Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
