Carrigan named to All-SAC Third Team
Senior attack Zac Carrigan was named to the 2022 All-South Atlantic Conference Men's Lacrosse Third Team, as announced by the league Thursday morning.
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Senior attack Zac Carrigan was named to the 2022 All-South Atlantic Conference Men's Lacrosse Third Team, as announced by the league Thursday morning.
Carrigan, a native of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada led all players in goals (55), shots (162), and finished fourth in the conference in points with 74, establishing career highs in all categories. He was also the statistical champion in goals per game, netting 3.67 per game.
In the second game of his senior campaign, Carrigan broke the school record for most goals (10) and points (13) in a game in the Lions' 25-14 win over Lees-McRae. He scored in all 15 games this season and on the road versus Newberry, moved into sole possession of all-time leading scorer at Mars Hill.
Carrigan closes out his career with 208 points in 65 games. His 158 goals rank first all-time at Mars Hill. He picked up 50 assists, collected 98 ground balls, and caused 12 turnovers.
