Mars Hill downed by Lenoir-Rhyne for first loss of season
The Mars Hill men's swim suffered their first defeat against Lenoir-Rhyne, 146-115, Friday evening. Erwin Ortiz and Angel Regalado each won two individual events and combined with Brendon Cyprianos and Elijah Sears to win the 200 Yard Medley Relay.
HICKORY, N.C. - The Mars Hill men's swim suffered their first defeat against Lenoir-Rhyne, 146-115, Friday evening. Erwin Ortiz and Angel Regalado each won two individual events and combined with Brendon Cyprianos and Elijah Sears to win the 200 Yard Medley Relay.
Ortiz was victorious in the 200 and 100 Yard Freestyle races with times of 1:43.54 and 47.41, respectively. Regalado won the 1000 Yard Freestyle and 200 Yard Butterfly races with times of 10:10.36 and 1:57.30, respectively.
Cyprianos picked up a victory in the 100 Yard Backstroke.

The Lions are 2-1 and head to Barbourville, Kentucky on Saturday, October 28 to face Urbana University and Union College.
