Jones Tabbed Astroturf SAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week
ROCK HILL, S.C. –Senior Nathan Jones has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Cross Country Runner of the Week as announced by the league office today.
ROCK HILL, S.C. –Senior Nathan Jones has been named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Cross Country Runner of the Week as announced by the league office today.
Jones, a senior from Lenoir City, TN, helped lead the Lions to a first place finish this weekend at the Asheville Cross Country Challenge. The meet consisted of Division I and Division II schools across the nation. Jones was the first collegiate runner to cross the finish line and was only beaten by one unattached runner. This award is his second Runner of the Week award of the season.
The Lions will return to action on Friday, October 7, traveling to Charlotte, N.C. to compete in the Queens Invitational.
