Mars Hill's Brandon Beard and Gil Gilreath earned individual All-Academic honors by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches of America (USTFCCCA), as announced last Thursday.

The Mars Hill Lions men's cross country team kicked off their season at the Covered Bridge Cross Country Meet hosted by Appalachian State Friday evening. Noah Allison finished 25th overall and 2nd in D-II with a time of 26:57.50.
