Wenmoth leads Mars Hill after first round of MHU Fall Invitational
The Mars Hill women's golf team ended Monday's round one in fifth place at the Mars Hill Fall Invitational.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - The Mars Hill women's golf team ended Monday's round one in fifth place at the Mars Hill Fall Invitational.
Junior Emilee Wenmoth led the Lions, shooting a first-round 84 to end day one in 13th place. Ashley Holland sits tied for 16th after shooting 87 on the day.
Both Jasmine Chesnut and Jordan Martindale shot an opening round 89 to end the day tied for 19th while Leann Crotts ended the day in 30th place.
Milligan leads all teams, shooting a combined 317 with Michaela Lindahl leading all players with a first-round 74.
The Mars Hill Fall Invitational concludes on Tuesday at the Johnson City Country Club.
