Bryner named SAC Defensive Player of the Week
Mars Hill sophomore goalkeeper Lauren Bryner was named the South Atlantic Conference Defensive Player of the Week, as announced Monday morning.
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The South Atlantic Conference announced its Varsity Gems Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week for games played in the first week of the 2023 season. Mars Hill's Lauren Bryner was named the defensive player of the week.
Bryner, a sophomore goalie from Raleigh, N.C., helped the Lions secure a 14-5 win over Emmanuel on Saturday. She played 60 minutes between the posts with nine saves for a 64.3 save percentage.
