Mars Hill defeats Truett McConnell in season opener
CLEVELAND, Ga. - The Mars Hill women's tennis team (1-0) defeated Truett McConnell (0-1) by a score of 5-2 Thursday afternoon.
The Lions took both doubles matches to head into singles play with the 1-0 advantage.
Charne Mulder, Shakti Mishra, and Versa Yadav won their respective flights to secure their first win of the season.
The Lions return to the courts on Thursday, October 16 when they host Montreat inside the Hart Tennis Complex. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
