Taylor Named AstroTurf SAC Special Teams Player of the Week
Keshaun Taylor was named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week
ROCK HILL, S.C.- Mars Hill sophomore wide receiver Keshaun Taylor was named the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week, the league announced Monday. It is his first weekly honor of the season.
Taylor returned a kickoff 90 yards for his first collegiate kickoff return touchdown at the 12:01 mark of the second quarter in MHU's 42-24 victory over Wingate on Saturday. Taylor's touchdown return gave the Lions a 26-13 lead.
In 2015, Taylor has returned 11 kickoffs for an average of 31.3 yards.
Mars Hill closes out the 2015 season at Brevard on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
