Lions fall to Lenoir-Rhyne in first dual meet of season
The Mars Hill men's swim team was defeated by Lenoir-Rhyne Friday afternoon in their first dual meet of the season by a score of 192-65.
HICKORY, N.C. - The Mars Hill men's swim team was defeated by Lenoir-Rhyne Friday afternoon in their first dual meet of the season by a score of 192-65.
Matthew Kowalczyk placed second in the 1,000 yard freestyle, posting a time of 11:16.35. In the 200 yard freestyle, Erwin Ortiz finished second with a time of 1:48.72. Matthew Goslin placed third in the same event, posting a time of 1:51.30.
Bruno Ferrari and Brendon Cyprianos finished second and third, respectively in the 100 yard backstroke by .01 seconds. Ryan Adams and Dalton Davidson finished fourth and fifth in the 50 yard freestyle.
