Women's Golf in Second Place after Day One of Bulldog Invitational
Mars Hill women's golf team is in second place after day one of the Bulldog Invitational hosted by Union College.
PINEVILLE, Ky. - Mars Hill women's golf team is in second place after day one of the Bulldog Invitational hosted by Union College. The Lions shot an opening round 353 on a blustery day at Wasioto Winds Golf Club. Host Union College holds the first round lead with a team score of 336.
Senior Jacqueline McCormick led the Lions with an 83, good for third place in the five-team competition. Victoria Barrett, Sarah Johnson, and Lindsey Ball rounded out the line-up. The second and final round will begin tomorrow at 10 a.m.
