Lions in seventh after round one of Pfeiffer Spring Invitational
After day one of the Pfeiffer Spring Invitational on Monday, the Mars Hill women's golf team sits in seventh place.
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. - After day one of the Pfeiffer Spring Invitational on Monday, the Mars Hill women's golf team sits in seventh place.
Janie Gooch was tied for fourth after the opening round, shooting +1 on the day and sitting three strokes behind first place.
Emilee Wenmoth and Jasmine Chesnut placed 34th and 35th, respectively, shooting +14 and +15 on the day. Marie Syvertsen was tied for 42nd, shooting +19 in the first round.
The Lions shot a total team score of 337 on the day. They sit eight strokes out of fifth place, 10 out of fourth.
