Mars Hill finishes day one of Coker Spring Invitational in ninth
The Mars Hill women's golf finished day one of the Coker Spring Invitational in ninth place on Monday.
HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Mars Hill women's golf finished day one of the Coker Spring Invitational in ninth place on Monday.
Janie Gooch shot +9 on the day to finish tied for 20th with several other competitors. It was the top score of all Lions' golfers.
Marie Syvertsen and Emilee Wenmoth shot +14 and +15, respectively, placing 38th and 40th after round one.
Jasmine Chesnut and Kanani Thomas rounded out the field, finishing the first round in 47th and 48th, respectively.

The Coker Spring Invitational is set to wrap up on Tuesday, March 13.
