Lions conclude first round play at Coker Spring Invitational
The Mars Hill women's golf team concluded the first round of play at the Coker Spring Invitational in 14th place.
HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Mars Hill women's golf team concluded the first round of play at the Coker Spring Invitational in 14th place.
Linnea Karlsson ended the first round in 32nd as the top finishing Lions' golfer, shooting 82 on the day. Janie Gooch, shooting 85, finished 53rd on the day.
Both Jasmine Chesnut and Emilee Wenmoth shot a first round 86 to place 58th while Jordan Martindale rounded out the Lions' squad, placing 61st on the day.
The Lions shot a combined 339 (+51) on the day, sitting five strokes outside of the top 10 entering Tuesday's final round.
