Mars Hill lands three USTFCCCA All-Region selections
Mars Hill's Tiffany Holloway, Kylee Peck, and Shaniqua Stevens were named USTFCCCA All-Region selections, as announced Tuesday afternoon.
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its All-Region selections on Tuesday, May 14, with the SAC receiving 55 men's and 54 women's honors. Queens led the conference with 37 honorees between both genders. Tusculum's Nicole McMillen and Queens' Elise Ulseth will represent the SAC at the NCAA Division II National Championship with their performances in their respective events.
The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors, in addition to each of the members of the region's top-3 relay teams. The regions used for this award – Atlantic, Central, East, Midwest, South, South Central, Southeast and West – match those used during the cross country season.
A total of 1831 honors were handed out to USTFCCCA member institutions, which included 926 to men's programs and an additional 905 to women's programs.
