Taylor named to Google Cloud Academic-All District Team
Mars Hill sophomore Delaney Taylor named to District 3 2019 Google Cloud Academic All-District Team.
ROCK HILL, S.C. (TheSAC.com) – Six of the 12 spots in District 3 of the 2019 Google Cloud Academic All-District® Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Team belonged to the South Atlantic Conference, all coming from different institutions.
The SAC schools represented were Lenoir-Rhyne, Tusculum, Wingate, Queens, Mars Hill, and Carson-Newman.
The 2019 Google Cloud Academic All-District® Women's Track & Field/Cross Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the athletic realm and in the classroom. The Google Cloud Academic All-America® program separately recognizes outstanding student-athletes in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the Google Cloud Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team (if applicable) Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in June.
The Google Cloud Academic All-District® teams are divided into eight geographic districts across the United States and Canada.
The Division II and III Google Cloud Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2018-19 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
