Lions punch ticket to SAC Tournament
The Mars Hill baseball team earned their way into the 2021 South Atlantic Conference (SAC) Pilot Flying J Baseball Championship kicking off Thursday, April 22.
ROCK HILL, S.C. - The Mars Hill baseball team earned their way into the 2021 South Atlantic Conference (SAC) Pilot Flying J Baseball Championship kicking off Thursday, April 22.
With their 13-9 win over UVA Wise in their final regular season game, taking the series, and a Limestone loss to Tusculum, the Lions earned the No. 8 seed in the upcoming tournament. The Lions finished with a SAC record of 12-18.
The Lions will take on No. 5 Carson-Newman on Thursday, April 22 inside Smokies Stadium in Kodak, Tennessee at 4:30 p.m. Thursday's games will be single elimination, while the double-elimination portion of the Championship will be played Friday, April 23-Monday, April 26.
