Lions in Fifth Following Opening Round of Echo Farms Intercollegiate
The Mars Hill men’s golf team is tied for 5th after day one of the Echo Farms Intercollegiate in Wilmington NC.
WILMINGTON, N.C. - The Mars Hill men's golf team is tied for 5th after day one of the Echo Farms Intercollegiate in Wilmington NC. The Lions posted a 317 team total and trail Barton College who leads after posting a 300. Chase Dempsey led the Lions with a 77. Nicolas Fonseca of Barton and Tanner Pearson of Cape Fear Community College are tied for first place after a one-over-par opening round of 73.
Mars Hill also had a B team in the tournament. The B team is in 7th place.
