Mars Hill Finishes in Eighth at Tusculum Spring Invitational
The Mars Hill men’s golf team finished in eighth place in the 2014 Tusculum Spring Invitational held at Link Hills Country Club.
GREENEVILLE, TENN. - The Mars Hill men's golf team finished in eighth place in the 2014 Tusculum Spring Invitational held at Link Hills Country Club.
Adam Lumley finished in eighth place with a two-day score of 144 to lead the Lions. Charles Hartzog finished with a two-day 151, with Adam Lumley completing the tournament with a 152. Nick Caruso and Ken Dixon also turned in scorecards for Mars Hill.
The Mars Hill B team finished in 13th place with a team score of 628. Jonah Shelton finished with a team-low 153.
Lincoln Memorial won the tournament with a two-day 575. Railsplitter Rand Wasson was the medalist with a 140, finishing two shots under par. Wasson won the tournament on a scorecard tiebreaker.
Mars Hill is back in action March 17-18 at the Ralph Hargett Memorial held at Pinehurst National Golf Club.
