Mars Hill excels at Polar Joe Invite
The Mars Hill men's indoor track and field team excelled at the Lenoir-Rhyne Polar Joe Invite Saturday afternoon.
HICKORY, N.C. - The Mars Hill men's indoor track and field team excelled at the Lenoir-Rhyne Polar Joe Invite Saturday afternoon.
Freshman Matthew Tingle took first place in the 3000m with a time of 9:39.
In his first collegiate track meet, freshman Levi Higgins took first in high jump, jumping 6' 7''.
Senior, Tyler Holloway took home first place in shot put with a season best throw of 13.57m (44' 6.25")
Ky Mann claimed second place in long jump with a jump of 6.19m (20' 3.75").
