Lions compete at Flames Invitational
The Mars Hill men's outdoor track & field team participated in the Flames Invitational held at Lee University.
CLEVELAND, Tenn. - The Mars Hill men's outdoor track & field team participated in the Flames Invitational held at Lee University.
Tyler Holloway placed 16th in the shot put, throwing a new personal best 13.86m. He also competed in the discus, setting a new personal record with a throw of 39.67m.
Jared Benain placed 12th in the triple jump with a mark of 13.1m. Levi Higgins competed in the high jump, placing eighth with a jump of 1.80m.
David Elkins competed in the open 400 meter, placing 30th with a time of 52.50.
The Lions will travel to Newberry, South Carolina on Saturday, April 17 when they partake in the Low Country Invitational.
