Johnson Leads Mars Hill in Opening Round of Wingate Challenge
Junior Sarah Johnson finished with the low score after the first 18 holes of the Wingate Intercollegiate Challenge
MINT HILL, N.C. - The Mars Hill women's golf team shot a 375 in the opening round of the Wingate Intercollegiate Challenge on Monday at Olde Sycamore Golf Plantation.
Sarah Johnson led the Lions with an opening round 90, followed by Lindsey Ball with a 92. Emma Lundvall fired a 94, with Raven Brown recording a 99 and Victoria Barrett with a 100.
The Lions wrap up the tournament tomorrow.
