Lions place 10th at King Invite
The Mars Hill women's golf team finished the King Invite in 10th place as the tournament concluded Tuesday afternoon.
BRISTOL, Tenn. - The Mars Hill women's golf team finished the King Invite in 10th place as the tournament concluded Tuesday afternoon.
Jalen Castle was the top placing Lion, shooting an 85 in the second round and placing 22nd overall. Chelsea Baker shot one stroke better in her second round, an 85, and placed 35th overall.
Placing 50th in the tournament was Leah Matney as she shot a combined 181 and finishing two spots behind was Caroline Rizzo.
Rounding out the Lions' quintet was Jordan Martindale who ended the tournament in 57th place.
The Lions shot a combined 705 over the two rounds.
