Baker, Lions place second at Buzz Off Invitational
The Mars Hill women's golf team placed second at the Buzz Off Invitational Sunday afternoon.
ABINGDON, Va. - The Mars Hill women's golf team placed second at the Buzz Off Invitational Sunday afternoon.
The Lions placed four within the top-10, highlighted by Chelsea Baker's second place finish. Baker shot +29 over the two rounds, including a second-round 82, nine strokes better than her first round total.
Caroline Rizzo placed fourth by shooting a combined 179 while Leah Matney and Laycee Hoffman tied for seventh with a total score of 181.
Jordan Martindale rounded out the Lions' group, placing 18th overall.
