Records Fall at UCS Invitational
The Mars Hill women’s track team set two new records at the UCS Invitational
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.- The Mars Hill women's track team set two new records at the UCS Invitational held at the JDL Fast Track on Saturday.
Savannah Hulbert set a new school record in the indoor Pole Vault with a height of three meters (9 feet, 10 inches). Her new record height is over a foot higher than the previous mark. Hulbert, Toccara Jefferies, Kendra Henry and Alexis Montgomery set a new school record in the 4X400 Relay with a time of 4:15.41. Faith Trammell finished in third place in the 5000 Meter run (18:15.08). Montgomery scored a fifth place finish in the 200 Meter dash (25.88).
The Lions will travel to Virginia for the George Mason Last Chance Meet next weekend.
