Women's Track Earns USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Honors
Mars Hill earns the team honor for the third straight year.
NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Mars Hill women's outdoor track and field team was one of 115 NCAA Division II programs to earn United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Track & Field team honors, the organization announced late last week.
Mars Hill posted a team GPA of 3.36 to earn USTFCCCA All-Academic team honors for the third consecutive year. A team must have a team GPA of 3.0 or higher in order to be eligible for the award. In 2015, the Lions set six new school records and finished in sixth place at the South Atlantic Conference championship meet.
