HICKORY, N.C. - The Mars Hill women's soccer team (1-9, 0-7 SAC) was defeated by Lenoir-Rhyne (8-3-1, 5-1-1 SAC) by a score of 10-0 Wednesday night on the road.
The Bears' Katie Durham tallied 10 points on the night with four goals and two assists. Mya Rivera and Lucia Hidalgo each added two goals on the night.
Ellie Sutulovich, Katelynn King, Avery Brechbiel, and Samantha Swinson each recorded a shot on goal for the Lions. Kayleigh Palmer made a career-high 12 saves in the match.
Mars Hill returns to the pitch on Saturday, October 18 when they face Lincoln Memorial on the road. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m.
