MARS HILL, N.C. – Lauren Reimsnyder has been hired as assistant softball coach, as announced by Director of Athletics Rick Baker.
"I am excited to welcome Lauren to our coaching staff as our assistant coach and pitching coach," head softball coach Dexlie Inman stated. "Lauren is passionate about the game of softball and dedicated to helping young women grow and succeed both on and off the field."
Reimsnyder joins Mars Hill after serving as assistant and pitching and catching coach at Salem University during the 2026 season. During the summer of 2024, she served as softball instructor at The Hitting Academy, located in Ocala, Florida.
Reimsnyder played her collegiate softball at Bethel University and graduated in May of 2025 with a bachelor's degree in health and human performance with a minor in biology.
She obtained her master's in sports and recreation management from Salem University this past spring.
Inman added, "She brings a wealth of experience from her time at Salem University that will serve her well as she begins this new chapter at MHU. Her knowledge, enthusiasm, and commitment to player development will make an immediate impact on our program."
