Men’s Soccer ranked No. 25 in nation by NSCAA
Lions ranked fourth in Southeast Region
MARS HILL, N.C. - Mars Hill is ranked 25th in the nation in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Poll that was released today. The Lions are also ranked fourth in the Southeast Region.
Mars Hill ended the regular season 11-4-1. The Lions defeated Lincoln Memorial, 4-0, and King, 5-0, last week and host Catawba tonight in the Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Tournament Quarterfinals at 7:30 p.m.
Simon Fraser is ranked first in the national poll. Coker, Anderson and Flagler are the top three ranked teams in the Southeast Region. Montevallo, Lees-McRae, North Georgia, Lander, UNC-Pembroke, and Erskine round out the top 10 in the region. Mars Hill defeated North Georgia and Erskine but lost to Anderson during the regular season.
