Men’s Soccer voted fourth in Southeast by NCAA
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Mars Hill men's soccer team is ranked fourth in the second NCAA Division II Southeast Region Poll of the season. The Lions (9-4-1) are 9-2-1 against in-region opponents.
Coker is first in the poll, followed by Anderson. Flagler is third, followed by Montevallo. Lees-McRae, Lander, Tusculum, North Georgia, and UNC-Pembroke round out the top 10. The Lions have defeated North Georgia but lost to Anderson and Tusculum.
The top six teams in the region in the final poll earn a bid to the NCAA Tournament. The Division II Men's Soccer Committee will release updated regional rankings each week until championship selections on Nov. 7 at 7 p.m.
Mars Hill hosts Lincoln Memorial on Thursday, Oct. 27. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
