Bivens voted SAC Men’s Soccer Player of Week
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Mars Hill's Stephen Bivens has been named the South Atlantic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week.
Bivens led the Lions with three goals last week as No. 21-ranked Mars Hill defeated Limestone but lost to Rio Grande (ranked No. 3 in NAIA). He scored Mars Hill's first goal against Limestone in the 18th minute and then again in the 73rd minute, as the Lions won 4-1. Bivens' goal against Rio Grande came in the 17th minute.
Bivens leads the team with five goals. He is also the second Lion in as many weeks to win Player of the Week after Giovanni Malnati captured the honor.
Anderson's Jessica Kleinberg was named the SAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week.
