Tardioli named SAC Men’s Soccer Player of Week
ROCK HILL, S.C. - Mars Hill forward Brandon Tardioli has been named the 2011 regular season's final South Atlantic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week.
Tardioli led Mars Hill in scoring last week as the Lions secured the No. 3 seed in the Food Lion SAC Soccer Championship. He scored one goal in Mars Hill's win over Lincoln Memorial, then added two more as the Lions handled King, 5-0, on Senior Day. For the week, Tardioli attempted six shots-on-goal.
The 2011 Food Lion SAC Championship quarterfinals got underway on Tuesday afternoon. The event's semifinals and finals will then take place this Friday and Sunday, Nov. 4 and 6, at Manchester Meadows in Rock Hill, S.C.
