Men’s Soccer ranked No. 17 by NSCAA
Lions ranked third in Southeast Region
MARS HILL, N.C. - Mars Hill is ranked 17th in the nation in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) rankings that were released today. The Lions are also ranked third in the Southeast Region and are the only team from the South Atlantic Conference ranked in the national poll.
Mars Hill is 2-0 after defeating Belmont Abbey 6-0 and Erskine 5-1 last week. The Lions were ranked as high as No. 13 in the nation last season.
Anderson is the only other SAC team ranked in the Southeast Region. The Trojans currently are seventh.
Mars Hill travels to Limestone, ranked 10th in the Southeast Region, on Wednesday. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m.
