Men’s soccer in top nine of NCAA in scoring
MARS HILL, N.C. - Mars Hill is ranked ninth in the nation in scoring, according to the latest NCAA National Rankings Summary. The Lions (5-2, 2-0) are averaging three goals per game.
St. Leo leads the nation averaging 3.67 goals per game. The Lions are 13th nationally in total goals with 21. UNC Pembroke owns the top spot in that category with 28 goals.
Stephen Bivens ranks 23rd in the country in goals (6) and 28th in goals per game (.86).
The Lions host Newberry on Wednesday. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
